The Laboratory offers process analysis to individual artists, groups or companies – for example, in connection with The Junge Hunde Festival at Entré Scenen.

The process analysis focuses on the aesthetic ideas, values and tools of the individual artist or group. The occasion can be a concrete rehearsal process or a need to ‘shake things up’ and rethink strategies before starting a new production.

The questions posed might be: Which were the key turning points, good or bad? Which were the deciding choices? In which ways was the process productive and fluent? In which ways was the process intricate and problematic? Which parts of the process have to be developed? In which areas are new methods and inspiration needed?

The process analysis calls attention to the things we are inclined to do without realising it and without realising why. What knowledge is hidden in our practice? Self-reflection sharpens and develops visions, craftsmanship and productive cooperation.
