About
The Laboratory
Research and development within the Performing Arts
The Laboratory is based at Entré Scenen in Aarhus, Denmark, and conducts experiments within the performing arts, giving artists from different disciplines the change to meet, discuss and develop new methods and ideas.
The past season the Laboratory presented different experiments and workshops, including the conference MEETING # 1, Methods of Developing Text in the Performing Arts (May 25-26, 2007) with both national and international participants and partners.
The Laboratory’s new series of experiments is called REHEARSAL¤REVERSAL and started in February 2008. More information on future experiments will soon be posted on this website.
The Laboratory and Entré Scenen take part in the European Laboratory Network COLINA – Collaboration in Arts. With Tanzhaus NRW in Düsseldorf, Dance City in Newcastle and Espaco do Tempo in Portugal among others, new international artistic laboratories are in the process of being created.
